Parks and environment

Partnering with the AGO and the City in the revitalization of Grange Park, restoring the ecology and infrastructure of the park by 2010 and establishing a management oversight framework (with endowed funding) to ensure its long-term sustainability.  The goal is a strikingly beautiful, resilient, accessible, contemplative, safe, welcoming, sustainable green space, based on state-of-art ecological conservation, design excellence, outstanding art, and community ownership.  Subsequently, this working group will also work on other issues such as boulevard greening, urban forest management and energy/climate issues.
